When Kevin brought “Freeman” to NCVC, not only did he have lymphoma but he had other life threatening infectious diseases. By suppressing his immune system to treat the cancer, the infectious diseases could cause him to fail. With careful guidance and medical support from Dr. Ludwig and Dr.Riggle, his infections are controlled and he is surviving his lymphoma through chemotherapy.
